TIZO a.k.a. Lady Red: Striving to Leave a Legacy

“Destined for this,” says TIZO when explaining her passion for her music. The young 23-year-old emcee has been rapping since age seven. She fell in love with hip-hop and when she received a karaoke machine as a gift, it was the beginning of it all.

Since then, she has continued to hone her craft by reading a lot and writing well over 100 songs. She believes that talent will go wasted if it is not polished and due diligence is not done to make something of that talent.

The current state of hip-hop and lack of respect for female emcees is what inspires TIZO to fulfill her destiny. Her“personal mission is to be a legend and write songs that are timeless.” She describes herself as the swagger of Jay-Z, the looks of a model, the word complexity of Lil’ Wayne, and the consciousness of Lauren Hill (her number one influence).

Right now she is currently on independent label Total Dominion Entertainment, LLC and working on her debut album. Be on the lookout for TIZO.
